Little Liam, Not Quite So Little Anymore

Liam has been growing so big, so fast. He is now crawling and has two little teethies that have broken through on his lower gum. :( He is not going to be a baby for much longer....

Can you get a peek of those little teethies??

My Crafty Boys

We spent most of the holiday weekend at home, just relaxing and hanging out. Such a relief. But I also think it was the calm before the storm because the next few weeks are going to be CRAAAAZY!

I tried to make more reusable snack bags, but my sewing machine seems to have given up on life altogether. I'm in the market for a new one; hopefully one that can do embroidery. But of course, I didn't let the sewing machine setback ruin my crafting time. I managed to get a project in with the boys and they had a great time gluing buttons to a picture frame. Here is their finished product! :)They were both quite proud of their project, as you can probably tell from those smiles on their faces. We will definitely be getting more crafting in when we have more time......

Meet Me at the Skate Park...

The boys' new fave place to hang is the skate park right down the street from our house. They love scooting and biking around and Shawn's trying to teach Isaiah how to do rail slides with his scooter. Mikey just loves running up and down the ramps with his helmet on. hehe. At least he knows how to stay safe. :)

This park is also super cool because it has an enclosed, full-size street hockey rink. I have never seen that anywhere before. I'm on a hunt for youth-sized hockey sticks. Obviously, Mikey is too young for this, but Isaiah is at a great age to introduce to the sport. Stay tuned!!! :)

Awesome Art

I know everyone has that annoying bare wall that you just don't know what to do with. Well, Eureka! I have found the answer!

I stumbled upon this fantastic artist on Skip To My Lou with a site called Red Letter Words. She creates handmade art prints of words and/or scriptures which can be cafe mount-style or wrapped canvas, both of which I think are gorgeous. She also takes custom orders so you can choose what you want your print to say - I thought this would be awesome to memorialize a snippet of your wedding vows or something neat like that! These two prints are my faves.

The best part? Skip to My Lou is offering a "Let your walls talk with Red Letter Words" giveaway! Just browse through the Red Letter Words website and choose which print you would want if you won the giveaway, then leave your choice as a comment on the giveaway page on Skip to My Lou! Who knows....you may soon be the proud owner of a beautifully filled wall that will no longer annoy you. ;)
