Shawn's cousin had a fantabulous idea of publishing her Christmas wish list on her blog, just in case Santa follows it. I thought it was brilliant since I'm sure that Santa is very technologically savvy. There is just no way he could deliver presents to all the children (and adults who still 'believe') in the world in one night without having any help from Google Maps on his Blackberry, his GPS device or Bing. With all of these advanced tools under his belt, there is no reason why he wouldn't also be following blogs, especially the one written by this hardworking, selfless, dedicated and supportive wife and mother of three crazy a** boys. (I'm just trying to emphasize that I've been a good girl all year...in case Santa has any doubts.)
So, if you're reading this, Santa, these are the things that I would like to find under my tree on Christmas morning, in no particular order. :)
1) A 9" springform pan for my baking needs. And any other Caphalon cookware for that matter. I'm looking forward to finally growing up, tossing the mismatched hand-me-downs and having a cookware set that matches!
2) The Keurig Coffee Brewing System from Costco. Especially now that I am officially a FULL-TIME stay-at-home mommy to my three baby boys, I'm going to need all of the coffee reinforcements I can get. :P
3) A Mountain Hardwear Fleece jacket in Cinnaberry, size medium. I saw someone in SF wearing it last winter and I fell madly in love with it. And, finally, the time has come to put it on my own Christmas wish list. This burgundy color is gorgeous and gives this jacket a nice, feminine touch. I have a thing for cozy fleece jackets. They're just so easy to throw on for whatever reason - esp. the walks to school in the chilly winter mornings.
4) UPDATE!!! One other thing I have to add to this list is a Cricut Expression. This is just one of those things that I definitely do not need, but would be so freakin awesome to have!!!! They retail on Cricut's website for $349.99, but please don't panic, Santa. One of my friends snagged one at Wal-Mart on Black Friday for $188. The deals are out there, Shawn, oops, I mean Santa. You just have to be patient and look for them. :)
5) And if there were any one store that I would want a gift card to, it would be Michael's. You know me, Santa...Krafty Katrina. Just don't tell my husband about my secret love affair with Michael. Well, I guess it's not really that big of a secret when he shows up on our bank account statement a few times a month. ;)
That's it, Santa. Really. I don't need much. Actually, I don't need anything at all. But that's the point of Christmas, right? To be the best you can be all year, then be treated on Christmas morning with the wonderful things that you normally wouldn't buy yourself any other time of the year.
Love from the girl that's been on your 'nice' list all year,
Katrina
P.S. Please check back often for updates! ;)
