Adventures with Homemade Play Dough

For a number of different reasons, Isaiah has been bugging and bugging and bugging and bugging (you get the picture) me to make homemade play dough with him. I've been putting it off because the recipe I have calls for cream of tartar, which is something that I don't normally have stashed away in our pantry and I was definitely not going to turn it into an emergency trip to the grocery with three children in tow.

Finally, I broke down and decided to move away from the familiar and called upon the almighty google gods to shine upon me another recipe for homemade play dough that did not need this mysterious secret ingredient.

Found one (here's the recipe), made the stuff and Isaiah whined about it 'feeling nasty' (lol) while we were mixing it. Eventually it turned into some good ol' play dough and he and Mikey had lots of fun playing with their new creation. Fun times, people, fun times. :)
